I liked this movie quite a bit and I'm considering watching it again before sending it back to Netflix. It's a Sci-Fi Thriller with a twist. Starring Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster. Rated R for strong horror violence and language. Directed by Christian Alvart, the screenplay was written by Travis Milloy but the story was written by both Alvart and Milloy. It's tough to find good Sci-Fi movies now a days but this one is worth watching I think.
This movies was pretty good but I could have done without the family parts. Like the wife freaking out saying "your scaring the children" when all he was doing is taking down mirrors. For some reason the wife annoyed me throughout the whole movie. Then at the end the mirrors explode about twenty times. I get it the mirrors are done with. You don't have to show twenty scenes of it happening. Other than that I thought the very ending had a good twist to it. Starring Kiefer Sutherland and Paula Patton. There is an unrated version and a theatrical version. I watched the Unrated Version myself. Written,Produced and Directed by Alexandre Aja. 110 minutes long
I started this comedy not knowing anything about it. Being a comedy lover myself I thought it was a bit raunchy but in a funny manner and that's the way most comedies are. Pretty funny yet predictable in the end and worth watching, so if your into comedies like myself than I would suggest watching "The Goods: .Live Hard, Sell Hard". Also known as "The Goods: The Don Ready Story". Cast includes Jeremy Piven, Ving Rhames, James Brolin, David Koechner,Kathryn Hahn,Ed Helms,Jordana Spiro,Tony Hale,Ken Jeong,Rob Riggle,Alan Thike,Charles Napier,Johnathan Sadowski,Noureen DeWulf,Wendie Malick and Will Ferrell. Released August 14, 2009 in USA. 89 minutes, Rated R for sexual content, nudity, pervasive language and some drug material. Directed by Neal Brennan, Written by Andy Stock Rick Stempson.
The latest version of yet another Star Trek like we don't have enough of them already floating around. Honestly though since I do like some of the Star Trek shows and some of the movies this one in particular was pretty good considering. After you get past the Hollywood crap that they feel the need to put in every movie. So I personally could be a bit bias. I've heard reviews from people that didn't even like Star Trek but this one they claim was a good movie for them to watch. I have also heard "oh no, not another Star Trek!" Which I sympathize. I was thinking the same thing. But it turned out to be not so bad so whether you are a trekkie or not I would say at least give the movie a chance and then decide. Starring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Leonard Nemoy, Eric Bana,Bruce Greenwood,Zoe Saldana and Simon Pegg. 127 minutes, Rated PG-13 for sci-fi action and violence and brief sexual content. Directed by J.J. Abrams, written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Gene Roddenberry.
I heard some bad reviews about this movie but I thought it wasn't that bad at all. Not as funny as I thought it would be but worth watching at least once.

Since it's Groundhogs Day again it reminded me of this movie. Starring Bill Murray "Groundhog Day" came out in 1993 directed by Harold Ramis. This film is a must see. This hilarious comedy is repetative but I can watch it over and over. I can't even count the number of times I have seen it. 101 minutes Rated PG. Cast also including Andie MacDowell,Chris Elliot,Stephen Tobolowsky,Brian Doyle-Murray,Marita Geraghty,Angela Paton,Rick Ducommun,Rick Overton and more.
