Eddie Murphy in this role is like nothing I've seen before out of his previous movies. If you are looking for a comedy that may be the funniest movie I have seen this year or even possibly the whole decade! Than you've found the right movie to watch right here. "Meet Dave" kept me laughing nearly all the way through. I would guarantee at least a smile! I hope you enjoy "Meet Dave". One of the funniest movies I've seen! Good Stuff...
I used a picture that tells you nothing about the movie. I will tell you one this this pic is at the statue of liberty on the set.
If you've seen this movie I would like to know what is your favorite scene in the movie is? Or I'll can easily tell you my fav in the comments below.

National Lampoon's Van Wilder

This 2002 movie is one of my favorites for some reason it always makes me laugh. Starring Ryan Reynolds,Tara Reid,Tim Matheson and Kal Penn. Some parts are a bit nasty slash dumb funny but thats how some comedies make it funny for the sick sense of humour in some of us. As a whole though it's really funny. Not for kids though Rated R. 93 minutes long written by Brent Goldberg and David T. Wagner. Produced by Peter Abrams,Robert L. Levey and Johnathon Komack Martin.
Directed by Walt Becker.
The second movie is not so good. I definitely would not recommend it. I like comedy quite a bit but National Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise Of Taj just was not funny to me.

Deathwatch

Great movie if you can get past the war parts of it.

1 hour 31 minutes 24 seconds
This movie is not what it seems...
Rated R for language

August Rush

I'm not really into certain movies that have to do with music although I'am a huge music fan. I don't like too many of the classic musicals anyway. This one isn't too corny and I liked it a lot it, made me want to break out an instrument and start playing.
I say it's a must watch, although it's not a movie for everyone.
I assume it's rated PG

Mr Frost

A younger Jeff Goldblum stars in this movie. The movie as a whole surprised the heck out of me!
I had never seen of it nor heard of it before but was able to watch it on google video. This movie kind of has an 80's feel to it but that is because it came out in 1990. All in all I think it was a pretty good film. Jeff Goldblum of course is a great actor in this film as well as other movies he is in. Here it is below if you like to see it.

1 hour 43 minutes 40 seconds
Directed by Philippe Setbon. Written by Dery Hall and Brad Lynch. Rated R

Dumb And Dumber

If your a fan of comedy you may like this one. For me it's one of my favorites. It's so stupid it's funny! I have to admit the first time I saw this movie I did not like it. Then someone convinced me to watch it again and maybe I just wasn't in the right mood when I saw it the first time but the second time I thought it was hilarious!Dumb And Dumber came out in 1994 starring Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels. Written by Peter Farrelly, Bennet Yellin and . Directed by Perter and . Produced by Brad Krevoy,Aaron Meyerson and Bobby Farrelly. 107 minutes long.
Rated PG-13 for off-color humor. Even the Unrated version isn't that bad.

12 Angry Men

Classic black and white film. I've seen this movie quite a few times and still like to watch it.
Jurrors 1-12 Martin Balsam,John Fiedler,Lee J. Cobb,E.G. Marshall,Jack Klugman,Ed Binns,Jack Warden,Henry Fonda,Joseph Sweeney,Ed Begley,George Voskovec and Robert Webber.
Not bad for a movie that came out in 1957! 96 minutes rated PG.

Unforgiven

I'm not a big western movie lover but I think if I had to choose one it would be "Unforgiven".
Directed by and starring in it is Clint Eastwood. It also stars Gene Hackman, and Morgan Freeman. Came out in 1992 and was written by David Webb Peoples.
Rated R for language, and violence and there is a scene of sexuality.
131 minutes.

I thought this was interesting. Counting down from 100 to 1.

Gangs Of New York

I heard a lot about this movie so when I saw it on the shelf at a video store I took a chance and bought it. I have to say I'm glad that I did. It's a bit long (167 minutes) but I thought it was quite entertaining.Directed by Martin Scorsese written by Jay Cocks. Nominated for 10 oscars starring Leonardo DiCaprio,Daniel Day-Lewis,Cameron Diaz,Jim Broadbent,John C. Reily,Henry Thomas,Liam Neeson,Bredan Gleeson and more. Rated R for intense strong violence, sexuality/nudity and language.

Public Enemies

I have not seen this movie but apparently Johnny Depp (who stars in it) hasn't seen it either. So I feel better about it. I wonder if I would be feel the same if I were an actor?
Here he is on Letterman to explain...?

Thank You For Smoking

This movie was not what I expected. I enjoyed this movie but possibly because I smoke and I don't mind swearing. Rated R, so it is not recommended for young kids. Although I doubt they would be scared by it. If you click on the title it will take you to the you tube parts 1-9.

This movie stars Aaron Eckhart,Maria Bello,Cameron Bright,Adam Brody,Sam Elliot,Katie Holmes(not a big fan),David Koechner,Rob Lowe,Willaim H. Macy,J.K. Simmons,Robert Duvall

"It's A Wonderful Life"

An old Classic from the year of 1946 along with commentary. About 40 minutes in it changes to Spanish than shortly there after back to English. The movie is well known for it's Christmas feel, although I think it is good to watch at anytime of the year.
This film is great for any family on or near Christmas

Donnie Darko

I cannot give this one away but it's up there on the list of must see movies for me.  Rumour has it that there is a part two comming out.  If this is true than I can't wait.
Writer and director Richard Kelly.
Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and many more.
Rated R

Mr. Deeds

If you like Adam Sandler then this is a movie for you. Also starring John Turtturro and Winnona Ryder in this comedy. Rated PG-13  I would give it about 3.2 stars.  Not the best comedy ever but worth watching at least once.

Gattaca

In my opinion a great movie on what the future could have in store for us. For a movie that came out in 1997 they were ahead of their time. Is natural selection a good idea. Even if we had the power to mold human being into what we want. The real question is, should we?
Starring,Ethan Hawke,Uma Thurman and Jude Law.

Here is a short trailer below if you would like to see it.

The Man From Earth

Jim Bixby's The Man From Earth
I personally thought this movie was well thought out. Although simplistic, at the same time it makes it easier to understand. This movie made me think a lot. The possibilities are endless? It needs no action or adventure to be one of the best movies I've ever seen. It touches a bit on religion but I hope no one gets offended by that. It's just a movie.

Trailer below...

PCU

This movie is making fun out of college life. It's a slap stick - drunken stoner type movie. Not a kids movie but I thought it was funny. Jeremy Piven stars in PCU!

A classic for sure. If you haven't seen this or possibly your kids haven't seen this movie? It is a definite must see.
Rated PG

Event Horizon

I was lucky enough to see this movie in the theater. Or was I? The first time I saw this movie I was a bit weirded out. Overall though it's worth watching. Even if it is a little disturbing, it seemed kind of realistic. A Sci-Fi Horror that definitely makes you think twice.

Here is a trailer of the movie if you are still unsure you want to watch it. When I went into the movie theater though, I had no idea what the movie was about. Which probably is the reason why it was so intense. I recommend watching the movie with no idea of whats going to happen.
